The Brand
Skinish is a premium clinical skincare brand formulated at the intersection of molecular-grade dermatological science and bio-compatible organic actives. Their signature 7-step ritual is engineered for measurable skin transformation. They needed a digital storefront that mirrored this clinical precision.
The Challenge
The existing architecture couldn't support the high-fidelity imagery and complex storytelling required to educate users on the sequential 7-step ritual. Bounce rates were high, and the checkout flow felt disconnected from the premium brand identity.
The Headless Architecture
We decoupled the frontend from the backend to deliver a highly customized, app-like experience without sacrificing the robust e-commerce capabilities of Shopify.
Next.js Frontend
Built on Next.js 14 for blazing-fast page loads, optimized server-side rendering, and seamless route transitions. The UI reacts instantly, making the first 60 sec count.
Shopify Storefront API
Shopify powers the backend inventory, cart logic, and checkout securely. Real-time GraphQL queries ensure pricing and stock are always accurate without slowing down the DOM.
Framer Motion
Liquid-smooth scroll animations and micro-interactions guide the user through the 7-step ritual educational journey, increasing dwell time significantly.
The Checkout Experience
A frictionless cart drawer built specifically for high conversion rates. We utilized the Shopify Storefront API to process everything instantly without leaving the Next.js environment.
