HIRA — Fulcrum Studio

HIRA is a residence, a working studio, and an events venue held inside one concrete structure by architect Husna Rahaman — 'The Poet of Architecture'. We translated its amber light, cantilevers, and vertical procession into a scroll experience that feels like walking the building.

The Vision

Fulcrum Studio is led by Husna Rahaman — Forbes India 30, A+D 50, TEDx speaker — who believes architecture must stir human consciousness. HIRA, her 20,000 sq ft magnum opus, is 'built on memory, held by concrete': three worlds layered across four vertical floors.

The Challenge

How do you put concrete on a screen? The site had to carry the weight of the building — its shadows, its amber lighting, its silence — without becoming a static photo gallery. It needed to feel like a procession, not a portfolio.

Designing A Digital Procession

We built the site as a vertical journey mirroring the building itself — each scroll movement reveals a floor, a threshold, a change in light.

Three Worlds, One Scroll

Residence, Studio, and Events each get their own atmosphere and pacing — 'a private world layered vertically', 'a studio shaped by light', 'a flexible gathering space'.

Light As Interface

Amber lighting, cantilever shadows, and the facade become the visual system. The interface recedes; the architecture leads.

Editorial Typography

Poetic, restrained type treatment lets lines like 'A finite life, an infinite journey' breathe — matching the architect's voice, not shouting over it.

The Arrival

The entry sequence sets the tone — monolithic imagery, slow reveals, and the building's own geometry framing every viewport.

Walking The Floors

Cantilever, walkway, amber light, facade — each architectural feature is given its own moment as the scroll descends through the structure.

The Procession, Pocket-Sized

On mobile, the vertical journey becomes even more literal — one hand, one thumb, one floor at a time.
